Kent and Camellia - UAE
she was very friendly-walked right over and said hello ... actually most of the camels in this passing herd slowed down to take a look and many stopped to come up and sniff.
The camels I have met so far have been very low key, easy going and curious. I'm looking forward to getting one as a pet soon, I'm just waiting for materials to build the litter box.

Kent - Kamel Kommunicator - UAE
Here we see Kent trying to impress our camel friends by busting some moves. Nice try Kent, I'm pretty sure I saw Michael Jackson do something very similar once. However, to Kents credit it seemed to work! Check out the pics above this one - they became very cooperative once they saw that Desert Dance.

Kite Flying (Mt. Abu Rajasthan India)
The young boys are really into flying these very small kites. The kites remind me of some of the Chinese fighting kites that I have seen before.
Apparently, they get them battle ready by gluing crushed glass on strategic areas of the kite and string to bring down the opponent.
I saw these two lads on the roof top flying their kites on a sunny afternoon.

Traveling Music (Mt.Abu Rajasthan India)
In general terms.... India is chocker-block-full of very sweet gentle people awash in garbage, noise, dust, animals, amazing marble temples, more noise, stunning scenery, the sweetest little kids you ever laid eyes on, strange little temples in funny little nooks and crannies and soooooooo much more. Thats if you just step out on the street....now go for a walk and it gets really intense. Did I mention the noise everywhere ?
Wandering Monkeys (Mt. Abu Rajasthan India)
These monkeys sit on the road side waiting for snacks from people passing by and I'm not sure why their tails aren't flat.
This particular road is one that winds several kilometers up the mountain and is very narrow most of the way and extremely narrow in some other places. The monkeys have really long tails and I have often seen them hanging over into the road way. Why they don't have flattened tails is one of the mysteries we encountered here on the mountain.
